COVID UPDATE - We completed our Covid vaccines in February and we know many of you have too. Our governor has opened up small group meetings and classes and we are ready to get back into the classroom. We are still limiting our workshops to 8 people to allow for as much social distancing as possible. We are asking our attendees to wear masks although I will probably not be as it makes it difficult to talk all day thru the workshop.

We feel it is safe to come back to the classroom and we hope you do too. I look forward to seeing you back in my shop this summer!

Welcome to our workshop and classes page. In addition to our standard one-day 221 Featherweight, Singer 301, and Singer 400/500 Series Slant classes, we have added some exciting new classes:

  • Two-day Advanced 221 Featherweight Workshop
  • Two-day Advanced Singer 301 Workshop
  • Two-day, Back-to-Back Featherweight & 301 Workshop
These workshops are scheduled during the summer so we hope to see some of our friends from out of the area visiting and attending these exciting classes. See below for class details.

If you have a group and would like to request a workshop on a certain date shoot us an email (on the Contact page) and let us know.
Quilters Connection offers classes on maintaining and servicing your vintage sewing machines, especially the Singer Featherweight and Singer 301. These machines were designed and built to be oiled frequently. Why pay a service professional to do the work when you can have fun and save money doing it yourself!

You will learn how to disassemble, clean, reassemble, lubricate, and adjust your machine for maximum performance.

If you have a Guild or group and would like to arrange a class at your location, contact us to discuss your ideas and needs.
