Quilters Connection offers sales, service, and parts for vintage Singer sewing machines, as well as other brands of mid-century and modern sewing machines. We opened our quilt shop in September of 2007 and sold all-cotton quilt fabrics, notions, books, patterns, and kits. In 2009 we began servicing and selling Singer Featherweight sewing machines, then shortly afterwards opened up our parts department. Since then we have become a leading resource for Singer Featherweight users and collectors.
In 2012 we branched out into other Singer models such as the 301 and 500 series machines. We began teaching maintenance classes and giving historical and technical presentations to Guilds and clubs. As a vendor at the Dallas Quilt Show, the Houston Quilt Festival, Arizona Quilt Guild show, and others we sold hundreds of vintage sewing machines to satisfied owners in Texas and around the country.
We closed our Dallas quilt shop in October of 2016 to concentrate on packing for our big move. In September 2017 we moved to Olympia Washington where Shelley lived for many years before she came to Texas. We opened our shop here in Washington late in 2017. We are excited about serving the western Washington area!
Quilters Connection now offers repair and maintenance of a wide range of vintage and modern sewing machines. We stock parts and can order many parts for most brands and models of machines. We still offer maintenance workshops on Singer Featherweights and 301's, as well as lectures and workshops for Guilds, sewing groups, retreats, and quilt shows. If you would like us to come to your organization or event and present our lectures, classes, or be a vendor at your show feel free to contact us. We add value and traffic to any meeting or event!
Quilters Connection can also provide consulting services to machine buyers and sellers. Many buyers don't know what they don't know. Why risk buying a lemon when you can contact us to evaluate a sale listing and offer our opinions and suggestions.
Be sure to sign up for our email list for sale specials, class schedules, events, etc.
